А этот департамент совсем не заинтересован в том, чтобы обеспечить условия для успеха и не будет отказывать сложным и неясным случаям в пользу тех, для которых вероятность успеха наибольшая.
Я, конечно, не врач, но поверить, что в недрах фармы таки уже вырастили того самого Нового Человека, неподвластного побуждениям обычных людей, мне всё-таки трудновато. И что когда отбирают те самые 3% больных, которые будут участвовать в clinical trial, то потенциальная успешность лечения не играет абсолютно никакой роли.
Но даже если допустить, что всё это так, остаются те 97%, которым не повезло. Им-то что делать?

ну в общем, хрен с ним.
Я как смог объяснил, что не стоит трогать то, что не прошло все стадии, да и в фда хотя и идиоты сидят, но все же иногда ловят, некоторые препараты даже не аппрувят (но ре-е-е-едко).
А будете вы это трогать или нет, дело то ваше. Жаль, конечно, что у меня в итоге тоже повысится страховка, но тут уж ничего не попишешь
