Я много слышал - да и сам писал, наверное - как ухудшилась культура дискуссии со времён Трампа, дескать, совсем распоясались. Ну так вот, на самом деле - и для себя тоже напоминаю - это всё чушь, всё осталось таким же, как было задолго до Трампа. У нас просто короткая память.

First there was Sarah Palin. Now we can add another Republican reptile from the past trying to help the GOP win House races this year – former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

12. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said today that he regretted calling vocal opponents of health care reform "un-American" but compared the angry rhetoric of some Republican leaders who goad them on to the fiery rantings of a controversial Depression-era priest sympathetic to the Nazis.
Well, this is obvious of course, Republicans were compared to Nazis all the time since there were Nazis to compare them too.
