Во-первых, бонд распространяется на его родителей (они профессора Стенфорда, как я помню). Во-вторых, у него изымают паспорт и вешают на него трекер - т.е. если у него нет ресурсов мексиканского наркокартеля, свалить в другую страну ему будет непросто. В-третьих, он должен до 5 января найти ещё двух подписантов на бонд - иначе обратно в тюрягу. Ну и в-четвертых, если он сбежит, его родители лишаются дома.
Т.е. это, конечно, очень мягкие условия, и обычный воришка в жизни бы их не получил. Понятно, что у него есть друзья наверху. Особенно мягкая та часть, что отпускают его сразу, а все формальности задерживаются до середины января (обычного человека сначала заставили бы подписать все бумажки, потом отпустили бы. Но это не то, что просто взяли и отпустили под голое обещание. Ну и, как там правильно отмечают выше, цель бонда - не поднять бабла, а обеспечить наличие подсудимого на суде. Я даю где-то 90%, что на суде он будет, он не Макафи, чтобы скрываться от правительства США в диких джунглях.
