New York City, already a world epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, sharply increased its death toll by more than 3,700 victims on Tuesday, after officials said they were now including people who had never tested positive for the virus but were presumed to have died of it.

Ну ахуенчик. Оказывается, теперь так статистику делают - просто берём и дописываем 3700, потому что presumed. Я надеюсь, они всё-же это не впишут в официальную статистику (статья в NYT не позволяет этого понять, потому что они кретины, но судя по имеющимся графикам, скачка в 3700 нигде пока нет)? 

Если всё-таки впишут, то нью-йоркская статистика превратится, по сути, в мусор. А значит, и американская, от которой нью-йоркская составляет 1/3 практически, а по смертности - половину - будет мусор. По крайней мере в аггрегате, может по более мелким кускам ещё можно информацию видеть, но если смешать бочку дерьма и бочку варенья, то получится две бочки дерьма, вот и со статистикой так же.
И что теперь, нормальной информации вовсе нет? Или надо лично в исходных данных (где их взять?) копаться?

P.S. да, на worldometer уже вписали - 14 апреля гигантский скачок смертности. Притом что количество новых случаев стабильно с лёгким уклоном вниз, и смертность тоже. Но если делать подобные вбросы... в общем, вся аггрегатная статистика по США теперь таки мусор.

Думаю что ждать осталось недолго. Ведь неспроста трамп так серьезно наехал на ВОЗ обвиняя их в калюжене с Китаем.

Аналогичная ситуация была и с появлением другого КВ sars - тоже из китайской лаборатории какой-то молодой практикант случайно заразился и вынес это наружу.
