К тому же мягко говоря не факт, что англо-саксонское право распространялось на континентальные территории. Там, собственно, и права как такового на момент появления Жаннны д'Арк не было. Можно обсуждать, почему так получилось и заслужили ли французы в полной мере то, что огребли, но отрицать факт того, что англичане не принесли Франции ничего хорошего, бессмысленно. Достаточно почитать историю 100 летней войны. Сравнение д'Арк с Ильичём неуместно.

Англо-саксонское право "сделали" йомены, а бароны его Хартией зафиксировали. Это обычное право германских племён, к которым и англы и саксы относились. А шотландцы и ирландцы- нет.

То, что в определенной политической традиции адъ был укорочен минимум трижды — в 1215, в 1649 и в 1776 — in my humble opinion, служит указанием на какую-то в первый раз — случайность, во второй — совпадение, в третий — тенденцию. Интеллектуальная мода сменялась по всей Европе, технологии — тоже, но… "лагерь один, бараки разные", как гласит советский анекдот.

А во Франции была совершенно иная история. Там короли развили серьёзное, крепкое lawfare, и думали, что они очень хитрые. Оказалось, что не вполне, что привело оригинальных Капетингов к краху.
Однако те же английские бароны не привнесли отнюдь на французскую почву англосаксонское право, а развели там натуральный беспредел и кстати использовали то же lawfare, что бы убить Жанну д'Арк.
