Yeah, apparently a Presidential candidate thought that Jerusalem belongs to the Arabs!

I think people who label Barry "an empty suit" give him too much credit.

Самое отвратительное, что эту квинтессенцию оппортунизма и готовности сказать все, что угодно, а на следующий день отказаться от своих слов - выставляют как некое долгожданное изменение в политике, дескать вот уж он-то все сделает правильно, не как эти старыв политики.

Well, I guess it depends on a definition - what is правильно.

If you're indoctrinated by a pastor of Black Liberation Theology, a racist, a lefty in foreign policy and a socialist in economic one and generally an enemy of capitalist America - and you're planning to follow your views once elected a President of UofA -than it IS a change. Definitely.

US had socialist-leaning presidents before - take Wilson, Hoover or FDR - and some racist ones too - though none of them black, of course. So nothing really new there except for his skin color. Worrying - yes, but new - nope.

Ну, все-таки его не сравнивали с Гитлером (в отличие, кстати, от тех самых среднестатистических демократов, для которых это сравнение уже стало рутинным). Хотя в любом случае Гитлер тут не при чем.
