Superfreakonomics: В 1900, от несчастных случаев с гужевым транспортом погибло 200 жителей Нью-Йорка - или 1 на 17 тысяч. В 2007-м погибло 274 нью-йоркца - или 1 на 30 тысяч. Т.е. в начале века лошади были вдвое опаснее, чем автомобили сейчас.
