Многие задавались вопросом: почему у цензуса нет онлайновой формы? Вот почему:

Then my crew leader opens this envelope, checks that I have marked the form complete, and then reseals it in yet another envelope. Where it then goes to the local census office, and is once again opened, and inputted into the computer system. And those three envelopes? They end up in the shredder along with the form.

Интересно, данные процессы наблюдаются повсюду в мире?
Вижу организации и предприятия, в которых, возможно, уж как года три назад автоматизировать процесс и обойтись одним ПО, работают целые подразделения с ручным людским трудом.

С чем такое связано? "медленным переустройством" человека? Боязнь потери контроля?
