Columbia, MD — January 20, 2011 –Maryland based QSSI, announced today that it has been recently awarded a prime contract from the Department of Health & Human Service (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) to support various tasks related to requirements, architecture, design, and development of insurance exchanges as mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).

October 26, 2013:

The government on Friday named a UnitedHealth Group Inc. subsidiary as “general contractor” to oversee the troubled federal website designed to sign up Americans for health insurance under national health care reform.

Quality Software Services Inc., known as QSSI, will “oversee the entire operation” of Healthcare.gov, a government spokeswoman said.

QSSI now becomes responsible for prioritizing the site’s worst problems and getting them fixed.

Как же получилось, что тот же контрактор, что работал над провальным проектом, получает новый контракт на его починку? А вот как:

Anthony Welters, a top campaign bundler for Obama and frequent White House guest, is the executive vice president of UnitedHealth Group, which owns the software company now at the center of the ObamaCare Web-site fiasco.
UnitedHealth Group subsidiary Quality Software Services Inc. (QSSI), which built the data hub for the ObamaCare system, has been named the new general contractor in charge of repairing the glitch-plagued HealthCare.gov.

Ядерный удар абсолютно невозможен по политическим причинам, разумеется. Запасшись попкорном, с нетерпением жду конца ноября ;)
