Однако через цепочку ссылок мы натыкаемся на требование снизить уровень тестостерона до 10 нмол/Л, что действительно очень-очень низко для мужчины, и удерживать его там в течение года и более, т.е. демонстрировать продолжительную суровую гормональную аномалию. Обычный мужчина-атлет имеет уровень в 2.5-3 раза больше, только компетентный физиолог, впрочем, может как следует оценить этот пункт. Тогда проблема раздевалок выходит, на самом деле, на первый план.

Женские шахматы - это такая развлекуха (для зрителя). Они практически не несут в себе никакой теоретической составляющей, да и спортивная слаба: уровень не тот, и инстинкт убийцы не так развит. Лишь эстетическая и психологическая (притом чистая, не спровоцированная соперником, та относится к спортивной). В обозрениях женские шахматы фигурируют в первую очередь за счет феерических ляпов и немного - за счет замечательных, необузданных атак.
Поскольку по-прежнему большая доля качественной шахматной беллетристики идет на русском языке, то она лишена политкорректности, и один умный мужик обратил внимание на то, что в то время как сильные шахматистки вполне есть, среди сильных шахматных тренеров и секундантов женщин нет ВООБЩЕ (капитан мужской сборной Венгрии Юдит Полгар не в счет)! Все аналитические бригады шахматисток к ответственным турнирам состоят исключительно из мужчин, все интересные новинки и дебютные планы в женских шахматах - в принципе мужского производства, или, в крайнем случае, мужского руководства. Недавно был матч на первенство мира между китаянкой и украинкой, во Львове. Китаянка на голову сильнее, но украинцы набрали убийственную бригаду и подготовили Машу не на 100, а на 120 процентов. Увы, толку с этой подготовки оказалось мало, когда она заканчивалась, и приходилось играть самой, дрожали коленки и все расплескивалось.

1) Усиление или изменение своего собственного репертуара, каждый шахматист готовит 2-3 системы, а то и меньше, в популярных дебютах (в непопулярных теория, как правило, стоит на месте, и профессионал ее хорошо помнит, т.е. знает, какой сильный план сделал этот дебют непопулярным).
2) Подготовка сюрпризов к репертуарам соперников, благо они, как правило известны.
И да, это нередко превращается в гонку, кто успеет удивить первым.
Объем дебютной эрудиции профессионального шахматиста непостижим для любителя. :)

Я был свидетелем того, как женщина-гроссмейстер, играя с довольно слабым кандидатом в мастера (я его обыграл как-то, не напрягаясь), имела абсолютно выигранную позицию, но просрочила время при том, что после каждого хода игрокам добавляли тридцать секунд на обдумывание! А там ситуация была такая, что не тридцать, а десять секунд на ход были бы достаточны. Игра заканчивалась поздно, часов в одиннадцать вечера, а партия длилась больше четырех часов. Муж шахматистки, тоже гроссмейстер, покинул турнирный зал еще до конца партии, не в силах вынести происходившую драму.

Но что делать с тысячами тонн радиактивных конструктивных элементов. Понятно, что лет через 50-200 они будут мало опасны. Но эти 50-200 лет как с ними поступать -- спейсшатлов не напасешься.
Да и 3майленд, чернобыль и фукусима показали, что исчесленное учёными меннее чем один на миллиард вероятность катастрофы на АЭС (что приводит к трилионным убыткам) явно ошибочна. И кто будет страховать АЭС из частных страховых не очевидно.

Пихать радиоактивные материалы в шаттл - это довольно странная идея. Особенно для тех, над кеми эта бомбочка пролетать будет. К счастью, есть и способы получше, и дизайны, позволяющие снизить количество долгоживущих отходов, и дизайны, позволяющие минимизировать риски. Просто из-за дебильного отношения к атомной энергетике новые станции не хотят строить, остаются лишь старые.

I was able to get a summer internship at a company that does work in the industry I want to work in after I graduate. Even though the division I was hired to work in doesn’t deal with clients or customers, there still was a very strict dress code. I felt the dress code was overly strict but I wasn’t going to say anything, until I noticed one of the workers always wore flat shoes that were made from a fabric other than leather, or running shoes, even though both of these things were contrary to the dress code.
I spoke with my manager about being allowed some leeway under the dress code and was told this was not possible, despite the other person being allowed to do it. I soon found out that many of the other interns felt the same way, and the ones who asked their managers about it were told the same thing as me. We decided to write a proposal stating why we should be allowed someone leeway under the dress code. We accompanied the proposal with a petition, signed by all of the interns (except for one who declined to sign it) and gave it to our managers to consider. Our proposal requested that we also be allowed to wear running shoes and non leather flats, as well as sandals (not flip-flops though) and other non-dress shoes that would fit under a more business casual dress code. It was mostly about the footwear, but we also incorporated a request that we not have to wear suits and/or blazers in favor of a more casual, but still professional dress code.
The next day, all of us who signed the petition were called into a meeting where we thought our proposal would be discussed. Instead, we were informed that due to our “unprofessional” behavior, we were being let go from our internships. We were told to hand in our ID badges and to gather our things and leave the property ASAP.
We were shocked. The proposal was written professionally like examples I have learned about in school, and our arguments were thought out and well-reasoned. We weren’t even given a chance to discuss it. The worst part is that just before the meeting ended, one of the managers told us that the worker who was allowed to disobey the dress code was a former soldier who lost her leg and was therefore given permission to wear whatever kind of shoes she could walk in. You can’t even tell, and if we had known about this we would have factored it into our argument.
I have never had a job before (I’ve always focused on school) and I was hoping to gain some experience before I graduate next year. I feel my dismissal was unfair and would like to ask them to reconsider but I’m not sure the best way to go about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
