Сейчас прочитал - убийство в 2 милях от моего дома. Убийца - нелегал из Сальвадора, которого уже однажды высылали в 2013-м, но он вернулся. Причём не просто вернулся:

24-year-old Carlos Arevalo-Carranza is being arraigned in Santa Clara County Superior Court Thursday afternoon for one count of homicide in the brutal murder of San Jose resident, 59-year-old Bambi Larson.

It is long overdue for the County to reconsider its current policy of ignoring ICE hold requests for predatory felons, which undermines the safety of the very immigrant communities we collectively seek to protect. On July 10, 2015, I sent a letter urging County leaders to review their policies to ensure federal immigration authorities prosecute violent, predatory individuals who pose a serious threat to our residents.

Да, с начала 90-х в руководящих органах Санта-Клары и в представительстве области на более высоком уровне нет ни одного республиканца. Ни единого.
"In 2015 he was arrested for paraphernalia. In 2015, he was convicted of burglary in San Jose. In 2016, battery of an officer, resisting arrest and entering and occupying a property,".
He was arrested for even more crimes as recently as two months ago.
