In 1939 FDR refused to support a bill that would have let 20,000 Jewish German adolescents into the US.
when the Dominican Republic made a public offer to take in 100,000 Jews on visas, the administration undermined the plan. From Roosevelt's point of view that country was too close to home, and Jews deposited there would inevitably come to America. Officials in the US Virgin Islands, too, were willing to rescue Jews by letting them into the country, but Roosevelt halted the plan.

Зачем помогать Украине воевать с хуйлом в Украине? Ну, например, затем, что воевать в ним в другом месте силами американских солдат, после того, как он захватит Украину, выйдет дороже. Сама оригинальная статья запейволена, но доступно несколько отрьівков. По ним непохоже, чтобьі автор рассуждал о полезности и нужности каких-то видов дезинформации. Скорее вьіглядит так, что он говорит про примитивную криво слепленную дезинформацию и ее отличие от дезинформации качественной и аккуратно сделанной. Их он и назьівает "плохая" и "хорошая" (плохо сделанная и хорошо сделанная).
И в таком виде вьінесенная в подзаголовок фраза вьіглядит совсем по другому.
“Good disinformation is actually not false. Good disinformation is basically true and only somewhat tweaked.” = качественно сделанная дезинформация в общем не содержит прямой лжи. Хорошо сделанная дезинформация - єто в основном правда, совсем чуть-чуть подкорректированная.
