1. 18 Senate Republicans Vote for $1.85 Trillion Omnibus Bill
GOP always folds.

2. Did The Ways & Means Committee Play The Supreme Court On Trump's Tax Returns?
Yes. They argued before SCOTUS they need the returns to study IRS effectiveness and for legitimate lawmaking purposes. Trump argued that they would just publish them immediately. SCOTUS believed the Democrats and allowed them to see the returns. They published them immediately, without any studies or lawmaking. As usual, it was a nothingburger.

3. The Spending Bill Funds Abortions to Preserve 'Biodiversity'
Для спасения планеты надо убивать больше человеков, по заветам великого Мальтуса

6. Denver nears 'breaking point' trying to deal with influx of immigrants
They voted for it. Gooder and harder.

7. Risk of death by gun violence is higher for men in some U.S. areas than in wartime
Young men in Chicago's most violent ZIP code were more than three times as likely to experience gun-related death compared to soldiers sent to Afghanistan, the researchers found, while those in Philadelphia's most violent area were nearly twice as likely to be shot to death.
Keep voting D, dudes. While you are alive. After you're dead, you'll still be voting D, though.

8. ‘We’re seeing this every day’: UAB adds surgeons to handle surge of gunshot wounds
Birmingham is the seat of Jefferson County, Alabama's most populous county
In 2020, Joe Biden received 55.7% of the vote in Jefferson County, the best performance by a Democrat since Franklin Roosevelt in 1944.
Totally a coincidence.

9. White Progressives Shocked To Learn Black And Latino Voters Don’t Share Their Radical ‘Defund The Police’ Views
Maybe because they are the ones who end up shot because of these views?

10. Students Sue USC For Reporting False Data To U.S. News To Goose Its Ranking

11. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced the approval of permits to export liquefied natural gas to Asia after Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) held four agency nominees hostage.
I wonder how many other things GOP could win if only they dared to do anything.

12. Obamacare subsidies plus unemployment payouts ensure beneficiaries over $100,000 in blue states: study
Зачем работать, если государство просто раздаёт бабло забесплатно?

13. Rand Paul: US government spent $118,000 to learn if Thanos could really snap his fingers
И какие-то безумные либертарианцы ещё возмущаются, что правительство тратит деньги без пользы! Как бы мы иначе это узнали?!

COVID-1984

14. COVID-19 vaccine boosters for young adults: a risk benefit assessment and ethical analysis of mandate policies at universities
Booster mandates in young adults are expected to cause a net harm: per COVID-19 hospitalisation prevented, we anticipate at least 18.5 serious adverse events from mRNA vaccines, including 1.5–4.6 booster-associated myopericarditis cases in males (typically requiring hospitalisation). We also anticipate 1430–4626 cases of grade ≥3 reactogenicity interfering with daily activities (although typically not requiring hospitalisation). University booster mandates are unethical because they: (1) are not based on an updated (Omicron era) stratified risk-benefit assessment for this age group; (2) may result in a net harm to healthy young adults; (3) are not proportionate: expected harms are not outweighed by public health benefits given modest and transient effectiveness of vaccines against transmission; (4) violate the reciprocity principle because serious vaccine-related harms are not reliably compensated due to gaps in vaccine injury schemes; and (5) may result in wider social harms. We consider counterarguments including efforts to increase safety on campus but find these are fraught with limitations and little scientific support.
That's what the wrong experts say. You should trust the right ones.

15. Joe Rogan Was Right About Exercise and COVID-19
He said exercise helps against COVID infection, was laughed at, now we find it does.
BTW, do you remember they closed the gyms and the playgrounds?

16. Biden ‘Determined’ to Hide Coronavirus Origins, Expert Says

17. Adverse events in Pfizer trial may have been underreported by 10X or more
Hmm....

18. Among 51011 working-aged Cleveland Clinic employees, the bivalent COVID-19 vaccine booster was 30% effective in preventing infection, during the time when the virus strains dominant in the community were represented in the vaccine.
The risk of COVID-19 also varied by the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses previously received. The higher the number of vaccines previously received, the higher the risk of contracting COVID-19.
Hmm...

19. Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps has revealed she and her wife both suffered serious and ongoing injures from Covid vaccines, while suggesting the true rate of adverse events is far higher than acknowledged due to underreporting and “threats” from medical regulators.
Hmm...
I am starting to think the absolute safety thing may be a slight exaggeration...

20. White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha: I mean, the notion that you could cut respiratory infections – there is no study in the world that shows masks work that well. So, you’re never going to get the kind of benefit from mandatory year-round masking, as you would from making substantial improvements in indoor air quality, plus it’s a lot easier to implement as well.
That's kinda what conspirologists were misinforming us about for more than a year.

If you fit party's agenda, even a single person is good enough for nationwide policy. If not - thousands and thousands are "too rare".

31. The FBI’s influence campaign may have been helped by the fact that it was paying Twitter millions of dollars for its staff time.
Yes, you understood correctly - FBI paid Twitter for censorship.

44. Psychosexual outcome of gender-dysphoric children
At follow-up, 30% of the 77 participants (19 boys and 4 girls) did not respond to our recruiting letter or were not traceable; 27% (12 boys and 9 girls) were still gender dysphoric (persistence group), and 43% (desistance group: 28 boys and 5 girls) were no longer gender dysphoric
I think it's plausible to claim majority of dysphoric children desist after puberty. That's why activists try to cut them up and put them on drugs at earliest possible point - they are afraid to lose them.
