Конгрессмены пытаются заставить федеральное правительство убрать вопрос о расе и этнической принадлежности из форм проверки при покупке оружия.

Я вообще стараюсь подобные графы нигде не заполнять (в форме цензуса в графе race я написал human), т.к. считаю, что подробности моей генетики никого, кроме разве что лечащего врача, интересовать не должны. Когда я покупал пистолет, то просто проигнорировал эту графу, но сказал - ты тут должен написать "белый". Я спросил - а нафига? Он пожал плечами и сказал что-то вроде "закон такой". И, не полагаясь на меня более, вписал сам. Хорошо бы, чтобы этого больше не надо было делать.
