Вот ещё мысль - ведь если бы на Самых Честных Выборах в Истории (ТМ) победил таки Трамп, то его вторая каденция наверняка бы мало отличалась от первой. Так же терпел бы саботаж чиновников, так же жаловался бы на обструкцию в Конгрессе, так же склонял голову перед "независимыми агентствами", число которых не знает никто. Ну, русская коллизия бы выдохлась - придумали бы что-то другое. Может провёл пару реформ туда-сюда, но в целом после него всё бы осталось нетронутым, систематически, и к следующим выборам был бы, скажем, ДеСантис против Ньюсома, и без наглядной демонстрации того, к чему приводит политика буденовцев, кто выиграл, было бы совсем неясно. А то, ещё хуже, натурально Пенса выдвинули бы, и тогда точно было бы всё ясно. И коалиции с Маском у него бы не было. А теперь мы имеем Трампа после уголовных дел, покушений и всего остального - дикого, необузданного, и completely out of the fucks to give, так сказать. Совершенно другой расклад.
Чет действительно странно получается - Трамп получил практически столько же голосов, что и в 2020. Харрис получила примерно на 15 миллионов меньше. Куда они делись? Остались сидеть дома, как расисты и мизогинисты? Но если они такие расисты и мизогинисты, то должны были голосовать за Трампа. Обиделись за то, что Харрис не поддержала Фаллостину? Один из больших вопросов лично у меня к Трампу - его практически не-участие во всём, что касается защиты обвинённых в событиях 6 января. Почти 1000 человек получили обвинения, и около 200 - тюремные сроки, большинство - за малую часть того, что регулярно совершает или совершали антифа и БЛМ. Многие справа возмущались этим с различной (как правило, совершенно позорно недостаточной) степенью интенсивности, но вот голоса Трампа - который обычно невозможно не услышать, если он уж о чём-то заговорил - тут совершенно было не слышно.
Можно было бы подумать, что тут дело в том, что Трамп не хотел связывать себя прошлыми событиями и расходовать энергию и деньги на это, а бережет её для будущих предвыборных боев. Однако было ясно - и теперь стало фактом - что левые этого так не оставят, и в конце концов (ещё одно) дело лично против Трампа будет заведено, обвинение будет вынесено, и суд и присяжные будут подобраны из отборнейших трампоненавистников, которых в DC пруд пруди. Так что как обычно, всё пошло по сценарию "и перед ребятами неудобно".

Впрочем, учитывая, что по губернатору там тоже глубокий пролёт, возможно, просто херовая работа на местах.
Губернаторы: Мэриленд и Массачуссетс. Как там вообще выбирали республиканцев, непонятно... Но теперь уже и не выбрали. В Аризоне, видимо, считать будут ещё месяц. Куда торопиться?
Хаус: Иллинойс, Мичиган, Сев. Каролина, Огайо, Техас - все по одному проебу, в остальных местах б-м разошлись за свои. Волна наблюдается в двух штатах, один сами знаете какой, а второй почему-то Нью-Йорк. Возможно влияние редистриктинга, но как именно, пока непонятно, я недостаточно в местной политике понимаю. Их немедленно обвинили в расизме и обозвали куклуксклановцами, пригрозили, что у них будут неприятности на работе, а у их детей - в школе, если они не образумятся, но 300 из них не испугались и стали жаловаться.
Им сказали, что их жалобу приняли, тщательно разберутся, и если факты подтвердятся, то точно всё исправят, а виновных накажут. О результатах им сообщат как только, так сразу, можно не волноваться, всё в надёжных руках!
